Know about Indian roller - Coracias benghalensis
Indian roller is a Resident bird of size about 31 cms. Its local name is Neelkanth. It can be seen in and around Van vihar, Kerwa, Kolar, Shahpura, Prempura, Dhanwantri Park, Kaliasoth. Indian Roller has a striking blue colored big head, black bill, roufous brown breast and pale blue abdomen and under tail. When in flight, bands of dark and pale blue color are displayed in the wings.
