Mother Nature provides lot of thrill and excitement for anyone who really wants to discover the magic that’s all about. Plants, animals, birds, insects are fascinating and you would be amazed to see the world opening up for you when you start discovering it. Here's a simple 4 step solution to enter into the world of wilderness.......Identify : Look at the plants, animals, insects etc around your backyard, school, parks etc. Try to figure out there name. Use field guides, reference books, and internet or even speak to a biologist or botanist you know. Prepare a list that can later be categorized.
Features : Note the features and special characteristics - color, size etc and make a description chart for the specie. Use simple techniques like a pencil sketch for a bird. Collecting leaf samples for a tree or texture of its bark.
Collect & Document Information : Prepare a file, like herbarium file for plants. Or a nature notebook that has the collection of all the information and your observations gathered over years.
Share information : Dissipate your knowledge and findings. Your observations and record can be useful for future studies. Also can bring about a conclusive report of flora and fauna of the region
