Birds Rescued in Bhopal

On 17 th of January 2008 the flying squad of forest department and rescue team of Bhopal birds raided the bird market in jhangirabad near lily talkies and rescued 12 plum headed parakeet and one mallard duck whose selling and purchasing is illegal according to the wild life protection act. The forest flying squad team took all the birds in their custody. Bhopal birds team requests all the nature lovers that please dont purchase any birds for caging. Birds are for flying freely and not for caging.
