Kerwa,
about 12 kms from the city is a beautiful place with forest all
around a large dam. Its now being developed as a Ecotourism destination
by Madhya
Pradesh EcoTourism Developement Board, Bhopal. Its also a
famous adventure zone where Junoon
Adventure Club has been organizing different adventure activities
like treking, hiking, rock climbing, rappling, river crossing
etc.

Yog
Chinmay Dutt and Junoon team with MPEDB organised a Rappling event
today in Kerwa. Rappling in simple terms is descending from a
straight wall or a hill with the help of ropes. Its like we see
in commando training.
The
pictures of this event can tell you more about it. There is always
a safety rope if you think you can fell down. This safety rope
is controlled by the expert team of Yog.
For
those of us who participated in the event, it was a faboulous
feeling. The initial bending of body to about 90 degrees and than
feet movements to walk down the first step was just great. "Knees
Straight, come left, come left" and other instructions along
with the encouraging words of Yog and his splendid humour just
made our day.
